Since 1992, CALLASI has been a prominent Cusco-based brand and a benchmark in Peruvian and international artisanal goldsmithing.
We are a family business dedicated to the design and manufacture of export-quality Gold and Silver jewelry. We produce rings, pendants, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and a wide variety of ornamental and functional items. We inaugurated the first \u201cCasa de Arte y Dise\u00f1o\u201d CALLASI, where we manufacture and exhibit the most iconic pieces of art in traditional and modern jewelry. These are elegant pieces with an original, innovative design, quality, and excellence. In 1984, the \u201cCallasi Molina\u201d family moved from the province of Calca to the district of Pisaq, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This name is derived from the Inca city of Pisaqa, which is rich in history, cultural traditions, and millenary arts such as GOLDSMITHING, other metalwork, ceramics, and natural fiber weaving\u2014all cultural legacies of the Andean people. The family grew up surrounded by artisans, masters of clay, wood-fired ceramic kilns, freehand painters, and metal artists. Two years later, the spouses Lucio Callasi (Photographer) and Florencia Molina (Homemaker) decided to establish a clay craftsmanship workshop. This is how the family began shaping clay by hand, manufacturing necklaces, bracelets, ceramics, chests, ashtrays, and other items.

Carlos Callasi Molina is the third of six siblings, born in 1977. When he turned nine, his Father sent him to the workshop of the ceramist and maker of traditional dance masks, \u2018Maestro Dionisio Huam\u00e1n,\u2019 where he came into contact with colors, ceramics, and the paintbrush. At the age of ten, he moved to the workshop of Maestro V\u00edctor Arriaga and, for the first time, experienced FIRE AND METALS; strange faces, figures of men, intis (Sun figures), quillas (Moon figures), tumis (ceremonial knives), llamas, alpacas, ancient coins, and bells made of bronze, copper, and alpaca silver. Carlos showed a natural dexterity for the Arts and helped in the workshop for four years. This is how he decided to collaborate in the implementation of his Father's workshop, building innovative tools for the time and creating new designs while still a minor, thus bringing quality and greater productivity to the workshop. \u2018THE CALLASI BRAND IS BORN HERE\u2019 (1992); the entire family supported the venture for several years.

Carlos finished his higher education in 1999 at the \u201cDiego Quispe Tito School of Fine Arts\u201d in the city of Cusco and held art exhibitions in Pisaq, Cusco, and Piura. In 2002, he explored metal as an artistic material and rediscovered that strange fascination with metals. In 2005, together with his sister Dorcas Callasi, they decided to establish a GOLDSMITHING workshop. Over the years, their parents and siblings Marco Callasi and Jose Daniel Callasi joined the team. Dorcas is in charge of the accounting area, Marco handles photography, video, and sales, Jose Daniel manages sales, and Carlos Callasi takes on the Management and is the company\u2019s designer-goldsmith. They participate in several regional, national, and international fairs, selling their pieces throughout Peru, and in countries such as Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, the United States, France, the Netherlands (Holland), Australia, among others.

Throughout these years, they worked without losing sight of their core values: excellence, innovation, design, quality, and good service were the foundation for the family. They envisioned building a major project in the future for the growth and consolidation of the CALLASI brand. Over the years, they gradually acquired specialized machinery and underwent training in different areas to consolidate the company. Finally, after many years of hard work and great effort, they realized their dreams and inaugurated THE FIRST CASA DE ARTE Y DISE\u00d1O CALLASI (in 2021). The architecture features an Inca-Colonial style fa\u00e7ade, along with a modern, spacious, cozy, and elegant exhibition hall that also includes a cafe with a view of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
